Staff and pupils commemorated the 80th Anniversary of VE Day on 8th May by taking part in a live assembly with schools across the country. Children were also offered a delicious VE Day celebration lunch of fish and chips and jam roly poly.
In classrooms, class 4 children created poetry about the end of WW2, many of which were written from the perspectives of soldiers. Class 2 and 3 created some beautiful commemorative plates and medals and class 4 crafted the bunting for our community celebration day.
