In Class 2 this week we have been getting into the full swing of Christmas! The children have made Wooden Christmas Decorations to bring home. This took the form of planning a design which they then transferred onto the wooden decoration by sketching it in pencil. They then used paint, pastel and felt tip pens to bring their designs to life before Mrs Sankey sealed them with a lacquer. Thank you Mrs Sankey. We have also spent the week making Christmas Cards, Advent Calendars and Place Mats to use during our Christmas Dinner. The children have thoroughly enjoyed making these alongside the crafts provided to school from the Friends of St Lawrence. Lastly, this year’s virtual panto filled Class 2 with laughter, singing and enthusiasm as we watched it on Tuesday afternoon.
