On Monday 15th April, we filled the hall with grandparents who came to join the children for afternoon tea and games. We welcomed 49 grandparents and great grandparents, and it was wonderful to have so many visitors in school. We were having such fun that we forgot to take any photographs!
The children prepared some pictures, poems and special words to share, along with sandwiches they made and sweet treats they helped prepare.
We had a wonderful time getting to know our pupils’ grandparents, and hope to be able to invite more family members in to school soon. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us, and we hope you had a lovely time.
