Newsletter WK end 14.01.22

What a glorious winter day it has been. Class 1 loved getting outdoors and exploring the frost. Jack found some ice in the bottom of a cup, he told the class “the water had frozen and turned into ice.” He then managed to remove the ice from the cup and we were very interested to see what the ice looked and felt like. Albie found a “frosty leaf”, Elsie made handprints in the frost on the bench and Clara wrote her name. What a lovely time we have had.

Class 1 were brilliant during their Write Dance session today. Just look at their concentration. Write Dance is an Early Year programme which develops the prerequisite physical skills and co-ordination for writing. It also encourages creativity, self-expression and confidence.  Well done Class 1.

Class 1 produced some fantastic drawings today of trees around school when we were looking for signs of winter. Here’s how they got on ….

VMedium Term Plan EYFS Spring 1

We had a lovely afternoon decorating biscuits, playing pass the parcel and musical statues with lots of Christmas music. Happy Christmas everyone.

We have all enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch with our friends today. We also had fun pulling crackers and listening to Christmas music.
