Science Week – 12th March

Class 1 children have really enjoyed being part of  ‘British Science Week’ and participating in some fun science challenges. It was International Women’s Day on Monday, with that in mind, we focused on the scientist Mary Anning. She was an English fossil collector, dealer, and palaeontologist who became known around the world for finds she made in Jurassic marine fossil beds in the cliffs along the English Channel at Lyme Regis in Dorset.
